Benny Bình Trương is an entrepreneur, community investor, advocate, and activist dedicated to advancing leadership, education, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement within the Vietnamese American community and the global Vietnamese diaspora. He is the Founder of the Vietnamese American Leadership Foundation, which focuses on developing future leaders who uphold the values of freedom, democracy, human dignity, and community responsibility.
Having lived in the United States for more than 43 years and in Georgia for more than 25 years, Benny is deeply committed to giving back to the country and community that provided him with opportunity and freedom. Over the past 15 years, he has supported Vietnamese Student Associations (VSA) in Georgia and other states, as well as leadership, education, and entrepreneurship initiatives that help young Vietnamese Americans grow academically, professionally, and as community leaders. Through the Family Foundation, he also supports leadership and personal development programs for students in Vietnam.
Benny's work is driven by a deep sense of purpose and conviction: building a prosperous, influential, and unified Vietnamese diaspora community and an Ecosystem of Excellence, where education, leadership, entrepreneurship, investment, and strong institutions work together to help the community succeed and contribute to society. He believes that developing strong leaders, institutions, entrepreneurs, and an ecosystem of successful diaspora communities is essential to advancing the development of a Vietnam of Excellence founded on freedom, human dignity, and free enterprise.
He is married to his wife, Terry Nguyen Truong, and together they have three daughters: Victoria Trieu-Vi Truong, Venetian Trieu-Mi Truong, and Jacqueline Trieu-Minh Truong, all of whom have completed their college education. Benny's life and work reflect a lifelong commitment to service, leadership, philanthropy, and community development.
